We are generally looking for a specific number of panellists for every survey. Some surveys receive a higher response than others from AskingCanadians members. Once we reach the desired number of responses for a particular survey - even though some members still haven't responded - the survey is closed.

We are generally looking for panellists with specific characteristics for particular surveys (e.g. specific age group, gender, location, preferences, etc). This means that you will qualify for some surveys but will not qualify for others.

The number of surveys you will receive every month will vary significantly. The number of invitations you receive will depend on how often your characteristics match with those we are looking for in order to complete our surveys. For example, if we only need feedback from men in a particular month, you will not receive any surveys in that month if you are female.

The number of surveys you receive is solely dependent upon how often your characteristics match with those we are looking for, so there is no way to request more surveys.

Any time you do not qualify for a survey, you will receive points from your chosen rewards program as a thank you for your time.

Survey invitations will be emailed directly to the email address you provided upon joining AskingCanadians. Simply click on the link that appears in the invitation and you will be taken directly to the survey. If you have problems with the link, get help here .

If a new browser window does not automatically open when you click on a link to a survey, it is possible that your email does not support hotlinks. Simply copy and paste the link into a new browser window. If you are still unable to access the link, or if you get an error message, please contact us

No. You must choose one of the available reward options and for all of the surveys you take, you will earn your chosen reward. However, if you change your mind you can switch and choose to receive one of the other reward options.

The length of time it will take for you to receive your rewards depends upon which reward option you select when you join the AskingCanadians panel.

• Aeroplan® Points - It will take two to four weeks after the completion of each survey for your Points to appear in your Aeroplan account.
• 7Rewards® - It will take four to eight weeks after the completion of each survey for your points to appear in your 7Rewards account.
• AskingCanadians points and other great rewards - the length of time it will take for you to receive these rewards will vary and will be explained in each survey invitation you receive.

Aeroplan® Points - You can choose to earn Aeroplan Points® that can be redeemed for a wide variety of items including flights all over the world. Every survey you receive will tell you how many Aeroplan Points you'll earn or will be eligible to win for your participation. You must have an Aeroplan Number in order to earn this reward.

7Rewards® - You can choose to earn 7Rewards points that can be redeemed for food, drinks, and more at participating 7-Eleven stores. Every survey you receive will tell you how many 7Rewards points you’ll earn or will be eligible to win for your participation. You must have a 7Rewards account number in order to earn this reward.

AskingCanadians points – You can choose to earn AskingCanadians points that can be redeemed for a GiftCard PASS. A GiftCard PASS can be redeemed for virtual gift cards from retailers such as Amazon, Apple, Starbucks, The Home Depot, Walmart, Winners and more. Yes. If you decide that you would rather earn a different reward than the one you indicated upon joining the AskingCanadians panel, simply follow these steps:

1. Go to the Login section of our website
2. Enter your Email address and Password
3. Go to Update My Profile
4. Click on "Edit Profile"
5. Modify the incentive choice in your profile
6. Enter the appropriate card number (if required)
7. Click "Save" to save your changes.

Please note that it could take up to 10 days for a change in your reward choice to be reflected in the surveys you receive. In the meantime, you may receive surveys reflecting your original reward choice. Please be patient while our system catches up with your request. Once a reward selection is changed (from AskingCanadians points), any unused AskingCanadians points will be removed from your account. Such points will be void, have no monetary value, and will not be eligible for recovery, transfer, or redemption.

Each invitation will tell you the exact quantity of your chosen reward that you will receive or be eligible to win for participating in a particular survey. The quantity of your chosen reward will vary depending on two factors: the urgency of the survey (more urgent surveys will offer more rewards or more valuable draw prizes), and the length of the survey (longer surveys will offer more rewards or more valuable draw prizes).

Any time you do not qualify for a survey, you will receive points from your chosen rewards program as a thank you for your time. ​

To become an AskingCanadians points member, and earn rewards that can be redeemed for a GiftCard PASS, please click on the JOIN tab at the top of this page. Select AskingCanadians points as your incentive choice.

Based on the length and complexity of the survey, typically you will earn from 50 to 300 points per survey. Some surveys may be more complex and will have a value of 2000+ points.

Once you’ve earned at least 500 rewards points, you can redeem these fora GiftCard PASS. A GiftCard PASS can be redeemed for virtual gift cards from retailers such as Amazon, Apple, Starbucks, The Home Depot, Walmart, Winners and more.

At the end of each month you will receive an AskingCanadians e-statement featuring your points balance to date and how to redeem them. You need a minimum of 500 points to redeem for a GiftCard PASS.

If you start a survey but the next set of questions don’t apply to your profile, you’ll still receive 5 points for sharing your responses.

Invitations to surveys are sent based on your profile and on the demographic target chosen by our clients. If your profile matches that of a survey, you will receive an invitation for it.

Based on our client requirements, not all respondents are required to complete all questions in a survey. Further, if the quota for a particular group is full, the survey will automatically screen out respondents in this group.

If you do not already have an Aeroplan Card and want to choose this reward, you must enroll into the Aeroplan program. Go to www.aeroplan.com to enroll into the program and receive your 9-digit Aeroplan Number immediately.

If you have lost your Aeroplan Card, please go to www.aeroplan.com (select your preferred language if necessary).

If you know your number and password, login and click "Your Profile" under "Your Aeroplan". On the first page of "Your Profile", scroll down to "Lost your Aeroplan Card?" and click "Order a new card".

If you do not know your number and password, go to www.aeroplan.com and click "Help" at the top of the page. Choose "Lost Aeroplan Card" and follow the instructions to reset your password and order a replacement card.

Alternatively, you can contact the appropriate Aeroplan call centre at 1-800-361-5373. When you receive your new Aeroplan Card, you must login to the AskingCanadians portal and update your Profile with the new number.

To view the status of your entire Aeroplan Card, please visit www.aeroplan.com . The points you earn from your participation in AskingCanadians surveys will appear in your Aeroplan Account within 30-60 days after completion of each survey.

You may redeem your Aeroplan Points at any time by visiting www.aeroplan.com

If you have forgotten your card number, please call the Aeroplan contact centre at 1-800-361-5373. The agent will authenticate you, and upon successful account match, will provide your Aeroplan Number.

In the 7-Eleven app, choose your reward, tap "redeem", confirm and the points will be deducted from your points balance. Then, grab your selected item and head to the counter. Scan your app barcode or enter your phone number when checking out and the discount will be added at the register.

If you have forgotten your 7Rewards account number, please contact 7-Eleven customer service by phone at 1-800-255-0711, online at https://survey.Medallia.com/?711-gr&channel=6&type=2, or you can request a new password at https://7-eleven.ca/login.

To view your 7Rewards points please login to the 7Rewards app or at www.7-eleven.ca/7rewards. Click on your account icon, then click on Transaction History. The points you earn from your participation in AskingCanadians surveys will appear as 'Bonus Points' in your transaction history within 30-60 days after completion of each survey.

Navigate to the login page and click "Forgot Password?" and fill in the form. We will then send you an email containing your password information.

In order to change your email, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Login section of our website
2. Enter your Email address and Password
3. Go to Your Profile in your Member Area
4. Modify the email address in your profile
5. Click "Submit" to save your changes.

In order to change your profile information, follow these steps:

1. Go to the Login section of our website
2. Enter your Email address and Password
3. Go to Your Profile in your Member Area
4. Update your profile information
5. Click "Submit" to save your changes.

Click "Cancel membership" in the menu at the bottom of our website. Cancelling will remove you from all future AskingCanadians correspondence and surveys. Of course, you are welcome to join the AskingCanadians panel again at any time.

As well as earning valuable rewards, being a member of AskingCanadians™ is a fun way to voice your opinion on a wide array of topics, and influence the development of new products and services!

We calculate aggregate results by combining your responses with those provided by other participants who have also completed surveys. The data is stored in a database that can be analyzed by our clients in a way that always conceals your identity.

Yes. You must be 16 years of age or older in order to join the AskingCanadians panel.

Yes, the AskingCanadians site is secure. We protect your personal information by encrypting or scrambling the data. There are three simple checks you can do to confirm our site is secure:

1. Look for "https" in the website address
Secure sites have "https" at the beginning of the address, rather than "http." The "s" stands for "secure" and indicates the information you send is encrypted or scrambled, so it can't be read during transmission.


2. Look for the Lock symbol
An unbroken lock should be visible in the status bar at the bottom of your Web browser window. An unbroken lock means your personal information is scrambled, and no one can read it but us.


3. Check the Certificate
Double-click the lock symbol to view the security certificate. Make sure the certificate is "Issued to" AskingCanadians and the "Valid from" dates are current.
