General questions
Q. What exactly will AskingCanadiansTM do with my survey responses?
A. We calculate aggregate results by combining your responses with those provided by other participants who have also completed surveys. The data is stored in a database that can be analyzed by our clients in a way that always conceals your identity. Your personal data will never be revealed, sold or traded without your permission. For further details, please refer to the AskingCanadiansTM privacy policy.

Q. Why do people choose to join AskingCanadiansTM?
A. As well as earning valuable rewards, being a member of AskingCanadiansTM is a fun way to voice your opinion on a wide array of topics, and influence the development of new products and services!

Q. Is there an age restriction to becoming a member of AskingCanadiansTM?
A. No. However, if you are under the age of 18 you will require the permission of your parent or legal guardian in order to join the AskingCanadiansTM panel.

In order to earn Hbc Rewards bonus points for your participation in surveys, you must be the age of majority in the province in which you reside, or have the permission of your parent or legal guardian.

Q. Is AskingCanadiansTM a secure site?
A. Yes, the AskingCanadiansTM site is secure. We protect your personal information by encrypting or scrambling the data. There are three simple checks you can do to confirm our site is secure:
1. Look for "https" in the website address
Secure sites have "https" at the beginning of the address, rather than "http." The "s" stands for "secure" and indicates the information you send is encrypted or scrambled, so it can't be read during transmission.
2. Look for the Lock symbol
An unbroken lock should be visible in the status bar at the bottom of your Web browser window. An unbroken lock means your personal information is scrambled, and no one can read it but us.
3. Check the Certificate
Double-click the lock symbol to view the security certificate. Make sure the certificate is "Issued to" AskingCanadiansTM and the "Valid from" dates are current.
